Summer Quilt Project

Letters were sent to the Northeast Florida SIDS families to invite them to contribute a quilt square in memory of their child. Information and directions for this first quilt and others from around the state are available upon request and directions will also be printed in the August issue of the Florida SIDS Alliance newsletter. The goal is to complete a 6 or 9 patch regional quilt before the October Southern Women's Show in Jacksonville. Other quilts will be started as this first one is completed. One square from the original state quilt completed in 1996 will be added to each regional quilt as a gesture of heritage and to spread the original squares around the state.
